FYI

  • This website is designed to rank well in the major search engines and directories. The success of this strategty developes over time as the website matures. Hopefully, when somebody searches for WW2 information they'll find MtMestas.com on the top of the search results list instead of
20 pages of links to the DUKES Blue Devils sports team or Battle Mountain, Nevada. The MtMestas.com Search Engine Optimazion (SEO) design is ongoing and significant results will take 2 years. Please visit the MtMestas.com Forum page and learn how you can help us be #1.
  • The Blue Devils Family Alumni Page lists names of Mt.Mestas Memorial and Blue Devils members whose family has been in contact with Mt.Mestas.com. Numerous emails and Forum postings made to this website are reproduced here. If your are a Family Alumni send us a short bio and GI picture to be added this page.
  • The Medal of Honor content is still being indexed. Searching by name will be working soon. At this time you can search by alphabet or do a name search using the MtMestas.com search engine at the top left of every page.

  • The Mt.Mestas Memorial Monument is searchable by name however there are not many bios or pictures yet. Research is ongoing. As soon as we receive some info we'll publish it.

  • The links should be working. If you find a typo or a link that isn't working send us an email and it'll get fixed. Some of the documents are hard to read. This is because of the original copies. I will be fixing the worst. Send me an email and link to any pages you found hard to read and I'll do those first.

  • Some of the newspaper articles are a little blurry to read. Some higher resolution images are going to improve that soon.

  • All of the military content is collected from various sources.
If you are knowledgeable and spot an error let us know and we'll check it out. If you know of a document or article that should be available here at MtMestas.com, send it to me or let me know about it. If it's about the 88th Infantry Division or WW2 Italy, I'd like to have it. I am especially looking for pictures PFC. Felix B. Mestas,Jr. and of members of the 88th while in Italy or Africa.
