one of the persons named on the Mt.Mestas Memorial
Monument you are invited to contribute a picture
and a biography of their militay service. My
goal is to have each one of them represented
here on this website so that we all can know
who they were.
If you would like your La Veta website to be
represented on the MtMestas.com 'About La
Veta' page send us your URL address and
I'll take a look at it.
If you are a Friend of the Mestas Family
or a resident of La Veta you are invited to
contribute a personal story about them or something
about living in La Veta.
I'm looking to
add any clippings, pictures or articles related
to my uncle or to Mt.Mestas that you don't see
here. I'm especially looking for pictures of
Junior or hearing from anybody that knew him.
What was he like?
The Invasion of Italy
is one of the least documented areas of the
war. If you were in the 88th Infantry
Division during World War II we'd like to hear
from you. Your invited to tell us your story.
I'm especially looking
for any PHOTOS of the 350th Infantry Regiment
and 88th Infantry Division Blue Devils or any
photos taken in Italy during World War II.
If you are contributing pictures please include
a description with each picture naming the persons,
location, any details of the events shown in
the picture and date if possible.
All contributions will become part of the MtMestas.com
Archives and may be published. Contributors
will be acknowledged in our Contributors and
Friends sections. Submissions with a stamped
self addressed envelope will be returned after
a copy has been made.
